The scheme “e-Adhigam (Advance Digital Haryana Initiative of Government with Adaptive Modules) scheme” was launched by the School Education Department, Government of Haryana, with the objective of promoting digital education & providing online education to the children belonging to poor & needy families is proving to be a boon for them. Under this scheme, free tablets are provided to students, enabling access to state-of-the-art software & learning materials.
This tablet is equipped with a Learning Management System, which is based on Personalized Adaptive Learning; so that children can access mock tests, complete their syllabus with a comprehensive approach/information related to their subjects. The device includes the vast content such as books, PDF, video/audio and other digital material. Along with this, assessment and testing tools have also been made available in it. This device has test material and apps like e-Pathshala, NORER, NCERT solution, free solution of NCERT subjects etc. to prepare for various competitive exams.
Free Android Tablets are the Property of Government:
The tablet devices would be distributed along the lines of the library scheme. This means that all Android tablets will remain the property of the state government. The device will be issued to the govt. Upon passing Class 12, students will have to return it for online education.
Expected Time of Disbursement:
- In Phase 1, 5 lakh tablets were distributed to Class 10 and 12 students.
- Tablets for Class 11 students are distributed after Class 10 board exams.
- Tablets for Classes 8 and 9 will be provided in a phased manner.
