All government school buildings requiring urgent minor repairs are eligible. The School Education Committee (SEC) or Urban Education Committee (UEC) must identify the need and submit a proposal.

The scheme provides a grant covering 75% of the estimated repair costs, with a ceiling limit of ₹ 50,000/- per work.

Follow these steps: Identify the necessary repairs. Prepare a detailed proposal with cost estimates. Submit the proposal to the Directorate of Education. Await scrutiny and approval. Upon approval, receive the sanctioned grant. Execute the repair work. Submit a completion report to the Directorate of Education.
