One can receive pension amount in Bank Account, Post Office Account, Postal Money Order or in hand cash.

In hand cash will be disbursed by Pension Disbursement Authority of respective Sub District/Municipal Area. One can select the pension disbursement authority while filling online application form on UMANG.

The eligibility criteria under Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension Scheme (IGNWPS) is:- 1. The applicant must be a widow in the age group of 40-79 years. 2. The applicant should belong to a household living below the poverty line according to the criteria prescribed by the Govt. of India
