The scheme is administered by the Gujarat Labour Welfare Board, under the Labour, Skill Development & Employment Department, Government of Gujarat.

Workers with disabilities ranging from 40% to 70% will receive financial assistance of ₹25,000/-, while those with disabilities exceeding 70% will receive ₹50,000/-.

Organizations have to pay ₹12,500/- for disabilities ranging from 40% to 70%, and ₹25,000/- for disabilities exceeding 70%. Any additional amount required by law will be covered by the board.

Workers who become disabled during their duty period due to an accident or any other reason at the workplace are eligible. Additionally, only workers whose organization/unit has regularly paid their Labour Welfare Fund for the last one year are eligible.

Yes, applications must be made within 2 years of the accident. Applications received after this deadline will still be processed, but at the discretion of the office.

The Welfare Commissioner's decision is final, with jurisdiction in Ahmedabad.
