Yes, the applicant should be a permanent resident of Haryana State.

Under this scheme, a sum of ₹2750/- per month, per family will be given by the state government to those families who have solely girl child/children.

The enrolment of families under this scheme commences from the 45th birthday of the mother or the father.

The benefits will be provided for 15 years from the date of girls' parents completed 45 years of age.

Initially, the mother will receive financial assistance. In case the mother is not surviving, the benefit will be paid to the father.

The gross annual income from all sources of the family must not exceed ₹2,00,000/- to be eligible for getting benefits under this scheme.

The guardian or any parent of the child is employed by any Government or by any Local/Statutory Body or any organization substantially financed by any Government or Local/Statutory Body or who is drawing pension or family pension therefrom will not be eligible under the scheme.
