Patients belonging to economically weaker sections of the society who are suffering from specified diseases such as Parkinson's disease, Malignant Cancer, Paralysis, Muscular Dystrophy, Hemophilia, and Thalassemia, or chronic renal failure or any other disease that renders a person permanently incapacitated are eligible for the scheme.
