Students who belong to economically weaker sections of society and are studying at the secondary or higher secondary level are eligible to apply for the scholarship. They must have scored at least 55% marks ( Relaxation for sC/ST upto 5%) in the previous final examination and their annual family income should not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakhs
