The scheme is implemented by the Gujarat Building and Other Construction Worker’s Welfare Board (GBOCWWB), under the Labour, Skill Development & Employment Department, Government of Gujarat.

The scheme offers registered construction workers a bus pass at a concessional rate for commuting from Kadianaka to their workplace.

Beneficiaries are required to contribute 20% of the pass amount, while the remaining 80% is covered by the GBOCWWB.

Bus passes are issued at a concessional rate monthly, quarterly, six-monthly, or annually, depending on the demand of the registered construction worker.

Applicants must be engaged in any Building or Other Construction Work, and they must be registered with the Gujarat Building and Other Construction Worker’s Welfare Board.

The pass has to be collected from the municipal corporation office.

The scheme covers four municipalities in the state: Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, and Rajkot.
